FamEats next-dish ideas: "French Fry Stars", made from "French fries" with only the shape changed

Fries and rice, every single day…

  • A new dish appears, and they won't even look at it

  • You've run out of ideas for what to cook

  • The harder you try, the harder mealtimes feel

Those everyday favorites are where the next dish begins.

How it works

Start from a favorite. Change just one thing.

Only one change, so it is easier to accept. This is food chaining.

A snail travels from a plate of French fries to plates of potato dishes that change little by little
  1. Eats every dayFrench fries
  2. Change: ShapeFrench Fry Stars
  3. Change: Ingredientwith Peas on the Side

Food chaining starts from foods your child already eats. Dishes that change just one thing, such as shape, taste, or temperature, are offered a few times without pressure, gently widening the foods they eat.

Three next-dish ideas from AI

Each idea changes only one thing from a food your child already eats.

  • Choose which food to grow from, or leave it to AI
  • Choose what to change: temperature, shape, color, taste, cooking method, ingredient, or texture
  • Every idea explains why it links and comes with a serving tip

The Food Tree

Watch the Food Tree grow

Dishes that grew from the foods your child eats branch out like a tree. When a dish becomes a "yes", a flower blooms.

  • A flower = they ate it! A leaf = still trying
  • Foods you add by hand can hang under the food they came from
  • Grow the next dish from any food on the tree

Celebrate every win

Celebrate "they ate it!" together

When your child eats a dish well more than once, add it to safe foods. One more topping lands in the snail's bowl, and a flower blooms on the Food Tree.
